MONTHLY MEETING
The MSBA usually holds its meetings on the third Tuesday
of each month at the VFW in Grasonville MD. For information on the next
meeting please call Ralph Hayward at 301-372-8268.
The MSBA has an active agenda including the following:
- Publish and post newsletter online
- Provide assistance and research to all breeding farms for improvement of the industry
- Monitor legislation
- Sponsor educational booths at various State functions
- Plan and host annual MSBA Awards Banquet
- Work closely with Maryland Dept of Agriculture
- Develop overseas markets
- Contribute to many charity event
- Participate in Owners seminars held at Rosecroft Raceway
- Sponsor and conduct the annual CHESAPEAKE YEARLING SALE in conjunction with MARYLAND'S MANE ATTRACTION - HARNESS SHOWCASE WEEK
